Terms of Reference

  1. Each year, the Council shall appoint a Chairperson of this Committee, and such Chairperson shall remain qualified for re-appointment in such capacity in subsequent years.

  2. The Chairperson will appoint members to this Committee, as he may require, and shall obtain approval of such appointments from Council.

  3. This Committee shall have the following responsibilities relating to the Annual Conference of the Association (the "Conference"):

    1. Pre-registration

    2. Registration

    3. Social activities

    4. Guest speaker for President’s Luncheon, who shall be pre-approved by the President of the Association

  4. This Committee shall seek approval of the Conference format from Council.

  5. The administrative office of the Association, in consultation with this Committee, shall have the following responsibilities relating to the Conference:

    1. All correspondence

    2. Continuing education programs

    3. Guest speakers (except for President’s Luncheon)

    4. Business sessions

    5. Head tables

    6. Printing requirements

  6. All monies collected and received by this Committee are the property of the Association.  A detailed financial statement of income and expenses must be submitted to Council no later than December 31st of each Conference year.
