PHARMACY
SKILLS – REGULAR TERM APPOINTMENTS
SCHOOL OF PHARMACY - MEMORIAL UNIVERSITY OF NEWFOUNDLAND
Applications are invited for two Regular Term appointments in the School
of Pharmacy, for a three year period. The appointments will be at the
level of Lecturer. The successful applicants must have a B.Sc. (Pharm.)
and must be licensed with the Newfoundland and Labrador Pharmacy Board
by August 1, 2008. Practice experience in community and/or hospital
pharmacy is required. Primary responsibilities will include teaching
courses in Pharmacy Skills, Pharmacy Practice and Therapeutics;
maintaining an active practice in community or hospital pharmacy; and
participating in academic service. Teaching experience would be
distinct asset.
The School of Pharmacy is accredited by the
Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs. Research
strengths include drug delivery, drug targeting, drug discovery and
development and inter-professional education. The School encourages
collaborative research with Canadian, American and globally-recognized
universities and research institutes.

The positions are subject to budgetary approval and will be available as
of August 1, 2008 to July 31, 2011. The deadline for receipt of
